There is something about Night that is romantic.

I love when the Moon shines through the darkness.

Everything is so peaceful at night.

I love standing outside and feeling the night air.

I do my best thinking at night.

I love the stars.

Our world is beautiful.

Superbowl 48

I'm always wrong when I try and guess the Superbowl.

Seriously, whatever team I pick ends of losing.

I grew up in Washington, and loved loved the Seahawks.

They weren't very good.

Their uniforms were ugly.

We were always at the bottom of our division.

Now this.

2 trips to the Superbowl in the last 8 years.

I remember the last one.

Seahawks got SCREWED.

Thanks refs.  You gave Pittsburgh the game.

Everyone knew it.

It scares me a little.  The media is in love with Peyton Manning.

Everything has been about him....everything!

I hope the game with be fair.

So here is goes......

I made my wife re-watch the entire series with me.

We have analyzed every aspect of this show.

Stop what you are doing, and get caught up on this show!

I am a rich man.

I have everything I need.

I love my little family.

I love my wife.  She makes my life rich beyond measure.

I have a home.

I have a roof over my head.

I have food to eat.

I have a job that provides for my family.

I have the Gospel.

What more do I need?

Trials

Everyone has trials.

Everyone has something that they are dealing with.

Our trials sometimes define who we are:

- We let them defeat us

- We react positively to them

- We complain and blame others for our trials

- We find excuses rather than solutions

If we all have trials, why aren't we more kind to one another?

Why do we judge each other so harshly?

Why don't we ask one another for help?

Our trials can be a positive or a negative....it is our choice.

Some we can control, and others we can't.

I've learned recently that everyone has trials they are dealing with.  Some trials are big and others are small.  It is not up to us to judge others trials.

A lot of trials would go away if we were kind and understanding towards each other.  We don't always have to be right, or better than someone or something.  Being kind wins...it always has, and it always will.

I'm determined to be more kind to others.

I'm determined to weather my own trials with patience and understanding.

I will get off my soap box now....
